FNU Volleyball Signs Latest Lady Conquistador

On Monday, November 9, 2015, the Florida National University (FNU) Conquistadors Women’s Volleyball Head Coach Carlos Huaroto-Luque signed Raquel Murillo. She will be playing in the 2016 Season. She is from Miami, FL/Mexico. Raquel played for St. Brendan High School and is currently attending Miami Dade College.

In high school, she averaged 5 blocks per game, 6 kills per game, and 3 digs per game as a middle blocker and right side hitter. She also played for Tribe Volleyball Club her senior season.  “I thinkRaquel conversing with FNU rep Raquel’s high school and club experience will bring an added level of competitiveness to our growing program,” said Coach Luque.

Currently, FNU competes in the following sports: men’s basketball, men’s junior varsity basketball, men’s soccer and women’s volleyball.
