Human Trafficking Symposium

posing at conventionOn Thursday, October 8th, 2015, Florida National University (FNU), the Dr. Jose Regueiro Scholarship Foundation, INC. in collaboration with members from the local, state and federal government, non-profit and private organizations held the Human Trafficking Awareness Symposium: Prevention ● Apprehension ● Rehabilitation. The event took place in FNU’s Hialeah Campus. A panel of experts in Human Trafficking discussed how to prevent human trafficking, how to apprehend human trafficking, and how to rehabilitate the victims of human trafficking. The symposium concluded with a Question and Answer session. Live streaming of the symposium was provided by Miami Media School and SportsOvertime.
