Florida National University was honored by the Minority Chamber of Commerce

Hialeah, Florida – December 8, 2012 – The Minority Chamber of Commerce (MCC) recognized and honored Florida National University (FNU) as the Emerging Higher Educational Institution of the Year during their 12th Anniversary Gala. This special Awards Ceremony took place at the Miami Airport Hilton on Friday, December 7, 2012. This year’s theme was “Dynamic Minority Leaders: Partnership for Success.”

 

A total of thirty-four honorees were selected and acknowledged for their service and leadership to minority communities in South Florida. Mr. Doug Mayorga, MCC President, announced the Emerging Educational Institution of the Year award for their contributions of excellent educational programs in Miami Dade County, and FNU was honored and pleased to receive this award.
