Who are we?

We are the Psychology Club at FNU. It is a student-run organization dedicated to engaging all Undergraduate/Graduate students at Florida National University. The club hosts general body meetings the second week of every month. Where we as students, professors, and visiting faculty host discussions on topics, which they are used in their career and research. Members of the club have a chance to strengthen their leadership and communication skills by holding spirited conversations, acquiring leadership positions, organizing events, and volunteering. Most importantly, the FNU Psychology Club allows its members to meet other students and faculty who are also interested in the study of psychology, and as well other fields are welcome. The interaction between students and faculty helps students interested in conducting research join laboratories and apply to graduate school.

What do we do?

Psychology is the study of mind and behavior. Research in psychology seeks to understand and explain how people think, act, and feel. Psychologists strive to learn about the many factors that can impact thought and behavior, ranging from biological influences to social pressures. We exist because we want to help other students and our community applying what we have learned to improve the world around us.
