On Tuesday, August 11, 2015, Florida National University (FNU) Respiratory Therapy Students had the privilege to attend a lecture given by Dr. Jospeh M. Chalil, MD, MBA, FACHE.

Dr. Chalil conducted two presentations. The first lecture discussed the features and benefits of Respimat, an aerosol delivery system that does not require patient effort. This session was followed by a review on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and the gold standards for diagnosing COPD around the world. In addition, Dr.Chalil shared the valuable knowledge he gained through his experience in India and in the US military about diagnosing COPD without the aid of modern technology.
