HIALEAH, Fla. ( Sept. 10, 2022) – In dominant fashion, Florida National hands Brewton-Parker its fifth straight loss of the year. In the 6-0 shutout victory, the Conquistadors took control of both sides of the pitch and improved to 4-0-0 on the season.

The Conquistadors faced adversity early as Brewton-Parker was awarded a penalty eight minutes into the match. Goalkeeper Juan Manuel Fermosel stood strong in the box, slapping his hands together before ultimately saving the penalty attempt keeping the game level.

At the ten-minute mark, the Barons committed their own foul in the 18-yard box and put Tomas Casavilla in a perfect position to sink in the first goal of the afternoon for the Conquistadors.

FNU connected with the back of the net once again as Marcos Bakale scored a goal assisted by Santiago Leaniz. Constantino Higa tallied another goal at the 24-minute mark assisted by Nicolas Martinez.

Ricardo Delwing scored the final goal of FNU’s half on an assist from Marcos Bakale.

The second half was more of the same for Conquistadors as Vinicius Mallmann scored a goal on an assist, once again, by Marcos Bakale. Bruno Gonzales at the 82-minute mark, on an assist by Pedro Navarro and Leonardo Osorio, made it 6-0 as the game came to a close.
