Salary.com agrees! They list healthcare as #1 on their list of growing fields, marketing at #6 and finance at #7 for 2018. In fact, many authoritative publications echo the inevitable fact that as discoveries and technology advance by leaps and bounds, there will be a high demand on the workforce to care for people in the healthcare sector.
Florida, in particular, is a known paradise for snowbirds and retirees, spurring the continuous growth of the medical profession. This overall demand opens the plains of the sunny state for administrators in the medical field.
Manpower’s latest Talent Shortage Survey from 2016/2017 highlights the finance sector as an area that employers find lacking in available applicants.
The most versatile FNU graduate-level certificates -Public Management and Leadership and General Management- can cross the borders of all of the above-mentioned booming industries and into most other career sectors, as well.
Public Management is defined as the implementation of government policies, whereas General Management is the directing of a company or organization. Broad in definition, these positions usually require much experience, time, dedication and, of course, studies to get to the top.
In the private sector, titles include Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Operating Manager, General Manager, VP, and more.
In the public sector, positions are extremely wide: Foreign Service (embassies), administration in all government levels from a district, county, state and federal, analysts, school directors and education department administration, etc.

With as little as 12 credits (four classes), any one of our graduate-level certificates is a shortcut to increase your employability and skills in your field.

Pave the Way For Your Master’s Degree
Thinking in the long term, the certificates can help set a base towards a Masters because some of the certificate-level classes are applicable towards a fully-accredited Masters degree.
If you’re not sure if you can commit to a full-on post-grad program, a certificate course is a great way to test the grounds. And the beauty of it is that if you chose to continue, you have already knocked out a few of the required classes for the Masters. Class credits don’t expire for another five years if you want to transfer them towards your Masters.
Just one concrete example: the Health Care Finance class required for our GradCert is also a requirement for our Health Services Administration Master’s degree.

To accommodate students’ schedules, we not only offer day classes starting at 8am, but some are also offered on evenings and Saturdays.
