HIALEAH, Fla. (Nov. 24, 2023) – Florida National University’s Elis Cordova-Millet and Sofia Moreno Bendala are 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Volleyball Scholar-Athletes. The NAIA released the list of this season’s Scholar-Athletes with Graceland University leading all schools with 20 honorees. Concordia Univesity followed closely behind with 18 selections.
“The 2023 list features 1,206 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution,” the NAIA’s release said. “ In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.”
