Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) UPDATE

  • Online learning (Blackboard) implemented for all courses for Fall A

  • FNU is currently fully operational

Our campuses remain open with the essential staff/personnel to serve our prospective students, although we encourage them to use telephone, virtual, or online communication if possible.

FNU Update regarding Fall A Courses: Our FNU family and their loved ones are at the forefront of our minds as we grapple with the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

When we make hard decisions, the safety of our students, staff, and faculty is our top priority. We have concluded that we will continue with remote instruction through the Fall A semester, which begins August 31st, through Blackboard Collaborate. Students who need blackboard support may inquire through by filling out the form at the end.

The Florida Department of Education requires that Florida National University notifies you that if you are enrolling or are enrolled in a program that will require on-campus class sessions, clinical rotations, and/or externships, the online portion of the program that you are enrolled in will cease, likely during the time they are participating in their program due to the national emergency situation with Coronavirus COVID-19.

When the temporary approval ends of your academic program, the remainder of the program will revert to in-person teaching modality on campus.

Please note that Comcast and AT&T are offering greater access to the Internet with free WiFi hotspots and service to homes that do not have connectivity.

We will continuously update our website and all social media with the latest decisions and resources for students, faculty, and staff.
