HIALEAH, Fla. (May 05, 2023) – Florida National University’s softball team racked in eight All-Conference selections, as the Continental Athletic Conference announced its End of the Year Awards.
Notably, pitcher Dakota Kulis earned a First-Team nod after a stellar season from the circle for FNU. The Chicago native boasts a team-high 2.83 ERA and 54 strikeouts in 24 appearances this season. Yleisha Perez, Janessa Esquibel and senior shortstop Megen Johnson round out FNU’s First-Team selections. FNU tied for second most First-Team honorees in the CAC.
Pitcher Jona Goolsby, catcher Bailey Fernandez, infielder Tara McCaffery and outfielder Ana De Oliveira Obando were named Second-Team All-Conference.
