HIALEAH, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2024) – Florida National University’s eSports failed to get another League of Legends match in the win column after falling 2-0 to the Full Sail University Armada on Feb. 19. This is the first of two competitions this week, as FNU competes this season in three Fortnite Builds Open Qualifiers.

Versus Full Sail, Gabriel Colvara Neves made his long-awaited return to play since 2023 taking over the role of support. FNU was unable to capitalize in the first round as they were picking fights too early and allowing the Armada to gain the upper hand in kills and farms. Paul Perez was impressive as he attempted some solid gank attacks, but Full Sail’s jungler had anticipated the majority of the attacks.

FNU was able to extend round two, before falling to Full Sail after 30 minutes of play.

Up Next: Esports has its third Fornite Open Qualifier on Feb. 24 at 3 p.m.
