VANCOUVER, Wash. ( Nov. 3, 2023) –  Florida National University’s three NAIA qualifiers put up solid performances in the NAIA National Championship in Vancouver, Wash. The field was loaded with over 300 runners from 36 different institutions on the men’s and women’s side of the course. The women’s 6K began at 10:30 a.m. local time while the men’s 8K followed at around 11:30 a.m.

In the women’s 6K, Christina Adams was the fastest finisher for the Conquistadors with a time of 24:25.3. Adams ended the race in the top 200, while Daryl Quichimbo posted a time of 28:20.6, landing in 321st place.

The men’s 8K saw FNU’s lone qualifier Kristian Bodden end his season with a respectable time of 28:57.8 and cross the finish line in 300th place. 

Notably, Addy Wiley from Huntington Univesity was the top finisher in the women’s race with a time of 21:04.2. The NAIA crowned the College of Idaho as their new champions with a team score of 68. 

Jackson Wilson from Rocky Mountain University was the fastest man on the course, posting a time of 24:31.8. A team score of 93 was good enough to earn Milligan University the NAIA Men’s Cross Country title.
