HIALEAH, Fla. (Nov. 17, 2023) – Florida National University’s women’s soccer team had four stellar athletes named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Women’s Soccer Division I All-American list.
“The USCAA has announced its All-American and individual End of the Year award winners for soccer,” said the USCAA’s press release. “The ceremony was held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Greentree on Thursday evening.”
Conquistador goalie Nahomie Ambroise and defender Hucely Hernandez were named as First Team All-Americans while leading goal scorer Johanna Andersson and Mickaela Calisto got a Second Team selection.
Ambroise was a great addition to FNU this season, posting 62 saves in seven starts. Andersson and Calisto combined from six of FNU’s eight goals this season. Calisto recorded a team-high three assists while Hernandez had one in 11 starts.
