High Expectations for Fall 2018 Job Fair

High Expectations for Fall 2018 Job Fair at FNU
Thursday, September 27, 2018

For Immediate Release

There has been a notable hiring boom in Florida in the past year. In fact, the employment has been steadily increasing since 2010, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and today’s low 3.7% unemployment rate means it is harder to find available, qualified employees throughout Florida.

At Florida National University we will host the Fall 2018 Job Fair with great expectations for our students and other qualified community members. There will be 35 companies recruiting at the fair, which is from:

10am – 1pm
Thursday, September 27th, 2018

FNU Hialeah Main Campus
Dr. Jose Regueiro Building, 6th Floor
4425 W Jose Regueiro (20th ) Avenue
Hialeah, FL 33012

If you are recruiting at your company, call Fred Gutierrez, Job Placement Officer to add your stand to the FNU Fall Career Fair at 305-821.3333 Ext 1057 or email hgutierrez@fnu.edu.

FNU’s career fairs are open to the general public as well as the FNU student body.

Recruiters at the fair are looking to speak to qualified candidates to fill clerical, admin, accounting, finance, banking, RN, MA, HHA, Healthcare, CSR, Security, Legal, Law Enforcement, Management, Sales, HR and IT positions.

Currently, Mr Gutierrez notes that there is a high demand specifically for RN, Physical Therapy Assistants and Accountants – all of which are strong FNU programs that graduate skilled students.

When asked about FNU students and their career prospects, Mr Gutierrez states:

“The FNU students have clinical experience and thrive to reach the American dream. They are coachable, hard and smart workers.”
