On Thursday, October 8th, 2015, Florida National University (FNU), the Dr. Jose Regueiro Scholarship Foundation, INC. in collaboration with members from the local, state and federal government, non-profit and private organizations held the Human Trafficking Awareness Symposium: Prevention ● Apprehension ● Rehabilitation. The event took place in FNU’s Hialeah Campus.
A panel of experts in Human Trafficking discussed how to prevent human trafficking, how to apprehend human trafficking, and how to rehabilitate the victims of human trafficking. The symposium concluded with a Question and Answer session.
