HIALEAH, Fla. (Oct. 11, 2023) – Florida National University men’s soccer team used a 4-0 rout of conference rival Florida College to move to No. 13 in the NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. FNU (8-1-2) defeated the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Falcons (3-6-1) at Milander Park for its first CAC win of the 2023 season.

For the second straight week, FNU garnered its highest ranking in program history with 313 points. Mid-America Christian University holds steady at the No. 1 spot and The Sun Conference’s St. Thomas University stays in third place with three first-place votes. 

Florida National takes over Bethel University’s former spot as the Wildcats slide into No. 13. Notably, the CAC’s Georgia Gwinnett College moves to No. 24 while Tennessee Wesleyan takes over the final spot in this week’s poll.

The Conquistadors travel to Lawrenceville, Ga., for two matches at the CAC Classic hosted by Georgia Gwinnett. The No. 24 GGC Grizzlies and FNU will face off on day three of the tournament on Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.
