The purpose of this Bachelor of Science (BSN) program is to enhance the education of the RN graduates and provide professional growth. The students will be prepared in the areas of health assessment, nursing theories and concepts, research, leadership, informatics and health promotion across various healthcare settings. Florida National University awards a Bachelor of Science degree upon completion.

Expected Outcomes

  1. Evaluate knowledge from nursing science and evidence-based practice to deliver safe, person-centered care across diverse clinical settings.
  2. Analyze population health data and social determinants of health to implement culturally responsive nursing interventions in community and clinical environments.
  3. Improve healthcare delivery processes using quality improvement strategies to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.
  4. Appraise research evidence to support clinical decision-making and strengthen professional nursing practice.
  5. Lead interprofessional collaboration to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes in clinical and systems-based settings.
  6. Demonstrate professional accountability through ethical clinical practice, use of healthcare technologies, and learning.
