HIALEAH, Fla. (Sept. 6, 2023) – Florida National University’s men’s soccer team is ranked No. 19 in the latest NAIA Coaches’ Poll released Wednesday. The Conquistadors climbed two spots after starting 2023 in the No. 21 slot.

Men’s soccer had an excellent start in its first five games, earning a 4-1-0 record. The Conquistadors’ sole loss this season came to the then No. 11 St. Thomas Bobcats on August 26. STU has since shot up in the rankings, garnering a top-10 spot at No. 6.

Despite the loss, FNU has dominated its last two opponents, defeating Webber International 4-0 on August 31 and trouncing the Ave Maria University Gyrenes 4-2 on September 2.

Florida National seeks to extend this win streak September 9 versus the Brewton Parker Barrons. Kickoff in Mount Vernon, Ga., is set for 7 p.m.
