Men’s soccer lands at No. 21 in the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Preseason Poll

HIALEAH, Fla. (Aug. 16, 2023) – Florida National University’s men’s soccer team starts the long-anticipated 2023 season ranked No. 21 in the NAIA’s Preseason Coaches Poll. This is the second time in two years that men’s soccer is in the mix with some of the best teams in the country, entering last season in the nineteenth spot. 

The Conquistadors are one of just three schools in Florida to make this shortlist, with Keiser University and St. Thomas University rounding out the Sunshine State representatives at nine and eleven, respectively. Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) rival Georgia Gwinnett also appeared, landing in the eighth spot. 

Men’s soccer opens the 2023 season on the road versus Florida Memorial at 5 p.m. August 20.
