His House Children’s Home
His House Children’s Home is a faith-based social services agency fulfilling God’s directive to “defend the cause of the weak and the fatherless” by providing excellent care and a safe place to call home. Established in 1989, the ministry provides residential care, foster and adoption services for abused, neglected and drug exposed children of South Florida from newborn to 17 years of age, transitioning youth and their families. The agency is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families, contracted in the tri-county area as a residential program and child-placement agency. Our goal is to restore the emotional and physical well being of children in a loving and nurturing environment. His House is a healing place giving wounded children a warm, loving home and renewed hope for a brighter future. Foster and adoption training is available in English and Spanish on our campus, for more information you can visit our website at www.hhch.org or call (305) 430-0085.
In addition to on going projects, Florida National University engages our faculty, staff, and students in an array of community service projects benefiting programs like His House Children’s Home, Becca’s Closet, Sommerville Housing Community, Voices for Children Foundation, and many others.
