Save the date! On Saturday, May 14, 2011 please join Florida National University in a special and worthy community service event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Hialeah, Florida – April 21, 2011 – Florida National University is sponsoring a “Walk for a Cure!” a walk-a-thon to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

FNU is exited about sponsoring a “Walk for a Cure!” a very special community event that will raise funds to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude depends on community-based fundraising events to help them provide much needed medical treatment to children, save lives, conduct research, and find cures for devastating children’s diseases.

“St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay.”

FNU’s Walk for a Cure will be held at Goodlet Park, 4200 W 8th Avenue, Hialeah, on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Registration is at 10:30 a.m. and the actual walk is scheduled to take place from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Our children are our future leaders and professionals. Our children are our future! We invite all our FNU students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the community to join us and support this life saving and worthy cause, and ask you to please share this information with your friends, family, professors, classmates, colleagues, and on your online community profile.
