Florida National University (FNU) prides itself on being active in the community and doing charitable acts that will enrich our culture. On Thursday, November 3rd, our athletic department teamed up with City of Hialeah Parks and Recreation, Target and KABOOM! to help build a new playground at Carl F. Slade Park in Hialeah. The playground is set to positively reach more than 1400 local kids.
