Daiyana’s journey through FNU is one of persistence and determination. Arriving here from Cuba in 2004, Daiyana was determined to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. That dream led to her not only earning her LPN and BSN with us, but also saw her earning her MSN as well.
Grateful for her time spent at FNU, Daiyana has returned home and is now a member of FNU’s esteemed Nursing department. Working hand in hand with ADN Students, Daiyana is helping shape nurses of the future one class at a time.
“Teaching is a great experience and FNU has given me so much. I came from Cuba in 2004, had so many different jobs. But life changed for me when I arrived at FNU. Once I got here I began doing what I love, Nursing.”
