Reduced Tuition Rates for Military Spouses

Spouses of Active Duty Service members are eligible to receive the same published rate of $250 per semester hour, applicable for Undergraduate and Graduate degree programs.

At Florida National University you are able to utilize educational benefits programs such as MyCAA or VA benefits that have been transferred to you, (GI Bill® version, Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33)), or awarded benefits as the Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship, or the Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA/Chapter 35).

MyCAA (My Career Advancement Account) Scholarship Program for Military Spouses

MyCAA scholarship program is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance for licenses, certifications, or Associate’s degrees to pursue an occupation or career field.

Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) for Military Spouses

Chapter 33 can be utilized if your qualified service member transferred any portion or all 36 months of benefits to you.

Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship for Military Spouses

Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship provides Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits to the children and surviving spouses of Service members who died in the line of duty while on active duty after Sept. 10, 2001. Eligible beneficiaries attending school may receive up to 36 months of benefits at the 100 percent level.
